Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate and the team captain for the 2012's Fierce Five, in addition to the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold both on the floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze was won through her balance bar. In the end, she was the first American at the Olympics with the top medal count. Gold medals she took home in the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold medal for the American team. This made her, and teammates Gabby and Gabby one of the very first Americans to accomplish this accomplishment. Also, silver medals were awarded at the all-around event and floor exercise. In between the two Olympics she took a break from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. She was also a part of the gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercises. Aly is a supporter of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who passed away from cancer. She would like to become fashion-forward and increase the range of her socks and leotards in the coming years. Fierce is a novel she's working on, is due out sometime in the coming year.
